Since August 2023, Ravensburger has released a new expansion roughly every quarter. Here are the chapters that make up the story of Lorcana.
The First Chapter
September 2023
The founding set: the six inks, glimmers and the rules of the game, headlined by Mickey, Elsa and Maleficent.
Rise of the Floodborn
December 2023
A flood of mixed ink transforms glimmers into more powerful Floodborn, and brings the Resist keyword into the game.
Into the Inklands
March 2024
The expedition into the Inklands introduces Location cards, a brand new card type, and brings DuckTales into the game.
Ursula’s Return
May 2024
The sea witch makes her move and closes the game’s first story arc, with the Sing Together keyword and the first co-op mode.
Shimmering Skies
August 2024
A colorful festival between two story arcs, with the arrival of Wreck-It Ralph and Merlin’s vision of the Chromicons.
Azurite Sea
November 2024

What is Disney Lorcana?
Disney Lorcana is the trading card game (TCG) from Ravensburger and Disney, launched in August 2023. You play as an Illumineer able to summon glimmers: reimagined versions of Disney characters, from Mickey Mouse and Elsa to Stitch and Maleficent.
Each player builds a deck around two of the game’s six inks (Amber, Amethyst, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire and Steel), then sends characters on quests to gather lore. The first player to reach 20 lore wins the game.
Easy to pick up yet strategically deep, Lorcana has become one of the most popular TCGs of recent years, with an active community of players and collectors around the world.
