Fabled
The game’s two-year anniversary set: two new rarities, Epic and Iconic, heavy reprints and the start of rotation.
Fabled is the ninth chapter of Disney Lorcana, released for the game’s two-year anniversary. The set released on September 5, 2025 at mass retail, following an early release on August 29, 2025 in local game stores. It contains 204 cards in the main set.
Fabled celebrates storytelling itself, with Mickey and Minnie headlining a world inspired by the 1938 short Brave Little Tailor. Rather than opening a new villain arc, the set works as a jumping-on point for the game after Jafar’s defeat.
It is also the most structurally important set so far: 171 of its 204 cards are reprints from Sets 1 to 4, and it introduces two brand new rarities along with the rotation system.

The Epic and Iconic rarities
Fabled introduces two brand new rarities, numbered above 204. The Epic rarity features frameless cards with rainbow foil, holofoil icons and tinted text: rarer than Legendary but more common than Enchanted, at 18 Epic cards per set.
The Iconic rarity is the rarest in the game: full-card alternate art, custom lore-star foil and a 3D hot stamp, at just 2 cards per set. In Fabled these are Mickey Mouse, Brave Little Prince and Minnie Mouse, Sweetheart Princess.
The set also includes 18 Enchanted cards, 12 of them new and 6 reprints.
Reprints and rotation
Fabled is the first set built mostly from reprints: only 33 of its cards are new. Reprints share their copy limit with the original versions, meaning a maximum of 4 copies across printings per deck.
On September 5, 2025, the game launched its rotation: Sets 1 to 4 left the Core Constructed format, which keeps between five and eight sets legal at any given time. Alongside it, the Infinity Constructed format allows every card ever printed.
On the rules side, the set adds no new keyword and brings only updates, including a new notation for Shift.
Starter decks and products
Two starter decks shipped with the set: "Princess Power" (Amber and Sapphire) built around Ariel and Mulan, and "Standout Headliners" (Emerald and Ruby) built around Powerline and Max from A Goofy Movie.
The lineup also includes 12-card booster packs, the 24-pack booster display, the Illumineer’s Trove, a brand new Collection Starter Set (4 boosters, an 80-card Mickey portfolio, a Tinker Bell promo and a collector’s guide) and an Elsa gift box.
The most sought-after cards
The two Iconics dominate the set’s market: Mickey Mouse, Brave Little Prince and Minnie Mouse, Sweetheart Princess are among the very few Lorcana cards to pass a thousand dollars on the secondary market.
Among the Enchanted cards, Dumbo, Ninth Wonder of the Universe, Belle, Accomplished Mystic, Lilo, Best Explorer Ever and Hades, Infernal Schemer are the most closely watched.
